3D
Printing Lab
The 3D
Printing Lab was established to provide students with the means to get handson
experience with 3D printing. Interested students will have the
opportunity to learn to use 3D printing technologies and apply the experiences
they learn to their studies. After receiving the proper training and
certification, students may use the lab 3D printers to create items for their
school projects. The 3D Printing Lab is located in Riverside 4005 and is
managed by Professor Belkhouche and the 3D Printing Club. Students
interested in learning how to 3D print for themselves are encouraged to contact
the 3D Printing Club to get involved in exciting 3D printerrelated projects
and learn about training opportunities. The lab currently has one
Duplicator 4 3D printer and is in the process of building additional printers
to meet the growing student demand.
The
resources necessary to make this lab possible were provided by the 2014 UEI
Campus Grant Program.
